Two weeks ago Miralupa launched its first Augmented Reality game, Chromian Wars at the Montreal International Game Summit, the very next day from its MOBIZ prize nomination (in the Start-up category). This proved a great opportunity for us to showcase the game at the event’s Business Lounge, where many of the summit’s movers and shakers congregated for private meetings. We made a lot of great contacts and received invaluable feedback from a variety of industry insiders from here and abroad. We witnessed first-hand the significant interest people have in Augmented Reality technology, and we were able to show that, far from a gimmick, it really is a whole new way to visualize the game space.
